There have been some changes to the Official Rules of Netball (revised 2007).
These rules have been in practice since to commencement of the season, although it seems that many of us are unaware of this.
The major rule changes are listed in the following document: 2008 Rule Change Summary
It is not enough just to read this document. A rule book should be purchased and read in conjuction with the above document.
Rules Books can be purchased from Umpires Control for $12.
Any practicing umpires, coaches and players should obtain a copy of the rules.
